The bill may defeat the public assistance in Japan, because it will make difficult to apply for public assistance. If a person will apply, the welfare office will investigate the assets and the work of he/she and his/her relatives by the law. After that, the relatives will be required to maintain the person by the law too. And this bill contains many contents to make severely difficult to ask public assistance.
The bill will make many poors or domestic violence victims to commit suicide, to be killed by hunger (Japan have thousands of people who killed by hunger per year) or to be killed by disease without treatment.I wish the fact around The Public Assistance Act in Japan will be broadcasted in foreign media, especially the media in the US. Because establishments in Japan tend to afraid that if they can be favored or not by the people in the US.
